Open Question: How would I find a friend from 5th grade online?

I am a sophomore, and one of my good friends moved in 5th grade to Washington. I can find out what city, but I don't remember where it is right now. Anyways, how would I find him? I don't remember his parents names, just his, and his last name. Is there any way I can find him based on his name, and not his parents?
